St. Joseph Parish

Sunday afternoon, March 26th: Generations of Faith - "Celebrating Triduum," an opportunity for parishioners of all ages to come together to learn more about the meaning of Triduum. Participating in this event will bring our parish to a deeper and more meaningful experience of the three days we will celebrated during Holy Week.

The next Education Committee meeting will be Tuesday, May 9th at 5:30 p.m. in the parish office.

The next Liturgy Committee Meeting will be Tuesday, March 7th at 5:30 p.m.

Father Richard Chiola will present two evenings of adult education at St. Cabrini Church Hall, 1020 N. Milton, Springfield, at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 2 and 9. Father Chiola will help participants understand the relationship between the Sunday Scriptures, Catholic faith, and daily life.

A new minister schedule will be prepared the week of March 5th. If you have changes in address / telephone number, mass preference, and dates not available, please contact your ministry coordinator or the parish office no later than Friday, March 3rd.

St. Joseph School will have an Informational Open House for prospective families for the 2006-2007 school year. The open house will be Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at 6:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria. There will be a general information session, which will include an opportunity to meet the faculty and ask questions. Tours of the building will follow. Join us for this event to learn all that St. Joseph School has to offer. Please call the school office at 523-6597 with any questions.

The St. Joseph Youth will meet Sunday evening, February 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. beginning in the Chapel and continuing in the gym. If you are planning to attend please bring Pizza Hot Pockets, pizza rolls, or mini pizza that can be heated and shared. Soda will be provided.

The next Liturgy Committee Meeting will be February 7th at 5:30 in the Parish Offices.
