Ministers of Care

Volunteer parishioners visit sick or homebound members of the parish, those who are hospitalized for lengthy stays, and those in nursing homes. Ministers of Care usually bring Communion to these persons and remember them on special occasions with cards or small gifts. Volunteers offer support and assistance to families who have lost a loved one through death. Personal contact through visits, telephone calls, or notes is offered to the degree that is beneficial to the family.
