Sacrament of Reconciliation


The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered every Saturday from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m., or any time by appointment. In addition, a communal Penance Service will be scheduled each Advent and Lent. Watch this space for more information.

First Reconciliation


Children and their families at St. Joseph are formally prepared for their first celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the second grade. The preparation process includes reflecting on experiences of reconciliation and forgiveness in daily life, understanding what Scripture says about our need for forgiveness and reconciliation, and what the Church teaches.

First reconciliation usually occurs in Advent.
