Social Studies:
We will be studying U.S. History this year. We will also be
doing an in depth study of the regions of the country.
Children will need to learn the states and their capitals.
We will be taking a number of fun field trips this year.
First, we will visit the Washington Park Botanical Garden
for the Prairie Grass Festival. In December, we will take a
tour to the Old State Capital for a presentation on
Illinois State History. Next spring, we will be visiting
the Lincoln Museum.
Science: With
the help of the new libratory, we will be doing many fun
hands on activities for science.
Math: Please
work with your child on their multiplication facts. We will
be working on fractions, decimals, and percentages this
year. It will be so much easier if they know their
multiplication facts.

children are learning the mysteries of the Rosary. Please
