Volunteer parishioners and the parish nurse visit sick or homebound members of the parish, those who are hospitalized, and those in nursing homes and other care facilities. Ministers of Care can bring Communion to these persons. Volunteers offer support and assistance to families who have lost a loved one through death. Personal contact through visits, telephone calls, or notes is offered to the degree that is beneficial to the family.
